Will my truck fit?
A vehicle clears a drive-up door when it is narrower than the opening, mirrors included, and lower than the opening's height. Pick a vehicle and a door to see the inches to spare.
Where these sizes come from
Each vehicle size is from the maker's or rental company's own spec page, retrieved Oct 31, 2026. Trims vary, so check your own vehicle's numbers if it is close.
Budget lists only a clearance height for its rental trucks, so the checker tests their height and leaves width to you. For the 12 ft truck, Budget's truck page says 9 ft and its moving guide says 9 ft 6 in, so the checker uses the taller one. The F-150 height is Ford's empty cab height.

Common storage door sizes
An 8 by 7 ft door is common on a 10 ft wide unit, according to Janus International, a storage door maker. It says roll-up doors come as large as 10 ft wide and 12 ft high, so the unit size alone doesn't tell you the door.
Ask the facility for its door size
Only 2 of the 5,143 facilities we list state a door size on their site, and 139 name the largest vehicle they take. Call and ask for the clear opening width and height before you drive over.
